The light at the end of the tunnel
I heard the call of the lonelies last night. They came from
my sweet sister who is missing her soul mate, Gary. She was
feeling lost and adrift. The grieving process is often a long
journey and she is just at the beginning. I can understand the
pain of feeling lost and not having anything to hold on to but
having never been married, I can't entirely comprehend her
feelings. I can only reach out and listen to her. It's like listening
to a lone wolf howling in the moonlight.
But this too shall pass, Ellie. You are not alone because God
is watching over you and He will not let you drift far. There is
a light at the end of the tunnel. You and Gary will be together
again. Hang in there, Sis and know that you are loved and
somebody cares.
