Openess

I love these flowers. There is something about a

water lily that brings a calm to me. This particular

flower was found in a lovely pond in a Chinese garden

in Vancouver, BC.

Besides a calming effect, this lily also seems so open

and honest. It's not hiding anything. It's a very

straight forward flower. Wouldn't it be nice if people

were so open and straight forward. We all seem to

keep something back or hidden. It is a special thing

to share part of yourself whether in words or creating

something like a doll or a soup or a cookie.

To be open, you have to be able to trust........To trust

is a risk but it is often worth it.
