Winter Chill finally arrives
No, it's not as cold as this but it is finally working at it.
Today at least feels like winter. As strange as this year has
started out, it does give one pause.
My bible study group is discussing Revelations. Now that is
really something to give you pause. Especially, when you
read about what is happening in the world today. All these
countries demanding this and that, no one willing to give
a little, people pushing for seperation instead of unity.
The world which looks so beautiful from afar, is polluted
beyond recognition. Our seas are no longer bountiful, our
land is torn to shreds by ugly housing and buildings, trees
that once stood tall now lie fallen like soldiers, smoke from cars and trucks cloud the blue skies and make them gray. Plagues
any one?
I think about my great nieces and nephews..........will there
be any world left? I am not sure but I live in hope. Maybe,
we all will wise up and get our collective act together and
make some major changes. Meanwhile, I will do what I can
to change me so that I don't add to the problem. I use to
be terrified of changes but maybe they aren't all so bad.
