Just we Two

So here we sit, just we two. Our brother has returned to Texas and his lovely lady. We will miss him. As we sit together, we seem a little cautious, a little tentative but
then we relax. After all we are sisters, we are friends;
together yet different. We will adjust to each other. It
just takes a little time.
The visit is not what I thought it would be but in many ways it is better because we are both not at our best.
I will have to come back another time when Elinor is herself and not at the mercy of other people. Then perhaps we will know if this is the place............... for just we two.
