Gone

My great nephew, Stephen, has died today.

19 years old. I did not know him very well

but I remember when he was born. He was

a beautiful baby with a smile that would

light up room. Somewhere, sometime, the

smile faded. Somehow, that happy baby

found the need to turn to drugs and he

took an overdose. He clung to life for a few

weeks but today he let go.

He will be missed by those who did know him.

I would like to believe that God had pity on this

young man and took him to a place where he will

find his smile............that wonderful smile and he

will light up a room again. Safe journey, Stephen.
