My light and my salvation

Yesterday was sad. A troubled young college student at VA Tech killed 31 people and took his own life. Everyone is numb. What happened to this young man that he couldn't find any peace, that he felt he had to hurt so many others. We all search for answers but I don't think there are any.
"The Lord is my light and my salvation-whom shall I fear?" Psalm 27

I guess I fear those who don't believe, don't know God, or choose to be blind. I'd rather see the light.
