We Interrupt this blog with an important message...

Little Joe has arrived safe and sound. Little Joe is actually Joseph Dale Edwin Bailey and my newest Great Nephew. He is the first offspring of Christina and George Bailey who were just married a year ago in this month. What a blessing to welcome this newest member of our family. My new roomie is ecstatic and called to tell me the news; however, I am delighted to say that the proud papa beat her to the draw.

I am truely happy for both Christina and George. They are already making plans to move to Germany where George will be teaching English. We will definitely miss them but e-mail is wonderful and it just means we will have to go abroad. I now have a good reason to go to Germany.

Tonight was also memorable because I was given a lovely collage from the Golden Girls. They presented it to me at the Board Meeting. I was deeply touched.
