Uncle Sheild

My Uncle Sheild has died. One of my favorite realatives. I am
blessed with so many wonderful memories of this man. I will always see him as the skipper of his little barge on Lake Barcroft
happily welcoming one and all for a little cruise on the Lake. His
gentle beautiful southern accent was a joy to listen to as he would make puns or say "hotcha ma charley". I remember he
use to get such a kick when he would light the portrait in their
living room. I will also see him sitting in his favorite chair with
his good friend, Thomas, curled on his lap.
He was a brillant man, an excellant tennis player and always
a gentleman. Althougth Alzeimers took his memory and eventually his life, I will always see his delightful smile and the light in his eyes when you appreciated his witty play on words.
Don't worry, Uncle.........Robert and Thomas will be waiting for
you. Safe journey.
