Shout it out!!!!!

I remember an old gag from Laugh-In-- there
was this lady who was singing "When you are
down and out lift up your head and shout:
I'M DOWN AND OUT!!!!!!!
That used to crack me up. The singer was a comedian named Joanne Worley. She was big but kinda pretty in a big way. Recently I was watching the 20th Anniversery videos of the
Oprah Winfrey Show and she was talking about
all the weight shows she had done in the 20 yrs
that she had been on the air. She interviewed
lots of people who had weighed 500-700lbs and
most of the time they had felt like they were invisible. I can remember feeling that way too. I
don't want to feel that way again nor do I want anyone else to. I want to listen to others so that they feel that they count, not just in pounds but as valid human beings. After all, God doesn't make junk. We are all special.
