A little Courage on display

Elaine Joy is incredible. There she was yesterday, complete with her sax and her walker, just as she always was except she is missing a leg. She won't be playing softball anymore but she is still involved. What a gal.

I've always admired Elaine with her gravelly

voice and her wonderful humor. I'm glad she

is still in the band. I'm glad she hasn't given up and quit. I hope she will come out to the games

and just maybe, she will help me coach. I've

asked her. Who knows.
