Psalm 68:6a

"God sets the lonely in families" was my Bible verse today. As I look at this picture of my Sister and Brother, I marvel at how lucky I am to have been born into my family. Not only lucky, I am rich. My older siblings are treasures that I can
enjoy daily. The things I have learned from them and from their mates are priceless. Perhaps the best lesson has been courage. From Sharoni, it is courage in facing medical problems. She has had a bunch of them but she still perseveres with humor and good common sense. From Gary, it
was courage in facing his demons. His deep love, gentle wisdom and big bearlike hugs are missed by all. From Ross, it is the courage to keep going even when you want to quit. My Brother has been down but he always gets up (a little slower of late but up nevertheless). His
love, compassion and humor are the strengths that keep him going(and me too). For Elinor,
it is the courage to continue her career without her mainstay. Losing Gary was hard for Ellie,
but she has found some of her strength and she is working on the rest of it. Each of these people
are my family and they are a good refuge when I am lonely. Thanks God, for setting me here.

I too feel blessed to be a part of this wonderful family of ours. There are the most amazingly strong women in our clan...you included. And the men are a strong loving lot aren't they?
