There was SILVER and GOLD in Kentucky

Kentucky was Great. The Golden Girls sent 5 teams represented 5 different age divisions and came home with 5 medals: 4 Silver and one Gold. Not too shabby for an organization that started only 18 yrs ago with 18 members.
The picture at the left is the 60's team with the coach Dave Mallery standing with June and Rita.
Rita Ritter is the second one and as far as I am concerned, she deserves the MVP award because she was our only pitcher. It was hot out there and there were times when the team screwed up but Rita just hung in there and did a fantastic job.
More about Kentucky later. I am back and I am very proud to say that I am 4 pounds lighter than when I left. YYYYYYEEEEEAAAAA Me!!!!!!!!!!
