The Olympics--the 55's

They are the cream of our crop so to speak. Our 55's team is made up of
some of the best softballers in the Golden Girls Org. Three of my personal favorites are those in these pictures. Sue Duttine in the upper left is a friendly soul who loves dashhounds(sp)
and she has the cutest Mom I have ever met. Sue is very southern and she plays a mean second base. Wendy Williams below Sue is my
twin.She was born on my birthday and since I haven't met very many people born on my birthday, I like her. She is a "Charlie Hustle".
Lucy Sale ,the bottom picture, is the consumate softballer. She can do everything and do it well. She can pitch, hit homers, play short stop, and run like the devil.
I have been on Lucy's team on several occasions and I truely admire her. She knows the game.
My favorite team with Lucy was the Purple Posse. I found deputy badges for everyone and a sheriff's badge for Luce. We all loved it when she would put herself behind someone in the
batting order who didn't like to run alot. They would get on base and Lucy would hit a triple.
She would be running the bases like a steam locomotive and the slow runner would have this scared look because Lucy would be running right up her tail. It was a stitch. Luckily, I was never in front of Lucy.
