Tired and Flat
That is what I am feeling tonight. I woke up late this morning(7:07 to be exact). Since I have to be there at 7:30 that didn't leave me a whole lot of time. I did manage to get there( without
breakfast) but I was greeted with a phone call from a man telling me his wife had died and to please not charge her card any more. At first I didn't recognize the name but then he said that the lady came with her sister, Anne. Then I realized who it was: Shirley Herzer.
One of the nicest ladies I know, she and her older sister came every other day and worked out. Shirley drove because Anne
had given up driving. She had had some pain in her hip and had gone to her doctor but he couldn't find anything. The pain got
worse until Shirley couldn't get out of bed. Her husband took her to the hospital in an anbulance and they found that she had cancer all thru her body. She went in Wed and died Sat.
I found some Curves ladies who live near Anne and can bring her so she won't have to quit.
Later this morning, Donna and I drove to Richmond to take some of her pictures printed. After I got home, I had to go for a softball game with the Blue
team who trounced us Sat. They beat us again tonight but not so badly. I hit two single and
a double but my back hurts. So I am flat........down.........sad. Phooey!
