Going For Home(horse style)

I have often wondered if horses really understand racing. I think they understand that if they really run fast they might get some extra oats or a nice rub down or whatever but I hope they like it.

Do they like running faster than another horse? Do they mind running in the rain and mud?

Do they know when they have a day off?

Churchill Downs, watching the horses race. We tried to pick the winners. We didn't pick one.

Most of the time, the horse I thought should have done well, didn't do well at all. Actually, they usually came in last. I guess God was telling me to stay away from gambling because I am lousy at it. Thanks , God....... message received.
