Grey Ships Passing

"Lay down your sweet and weary head.
Night is falling ,you have come to journey's end.
Sleep now and dream of the ones who came before.
They are calling from across a distant shore."
There is a Golden Girls Board meeting tonight but I don't think I will go. I find I am slowly moving away from this
because there will be no softball for me in Vancouver.
Perhaps if I could still play, I might consider starting one but I really don't know enough nor am I skilled enough
to begin a "League of my Own". That is not the sound of defeat but of realization that there are some things I am not capable of doing.
"And all will turn to silver glass; a light on the water.
Grey ships pass into the west."
