My new niche in life

I think I have found my new niche in life. It is to be a holder of ladders . I actually hold ladders very well for people. Today I was holding the ladder for my friend, Lynn, who needed to clean her gutters. Boy, were they full of bird nests, etc. You don't know joy until you have had old birds nest dribbling down your neck. Oh , and then there is having screwdrivers dropped by mistake lightly tapping your noggin. Finally, there is the water dripping from the hose as my friend swoshes the remaining twigs, bird feathers and bugs down the drain.

The crowning point was the joyous whoopee from my friend as she successfully finished a job she had faced with a little trepidation. She had conquered the gutters and the view from the top was most satisfactory. Way to go Lynn!!!

And a little polite clap for the stoic ladder holder. We does what we can.
